Hopefully, more information will be shared ahead of August. A Battle Pass with cosmetics is one thing, but there's no word on whether Rumbleverse's map will change, if there's a story to be told, or any other typical battle royale content necessary for long-term player retention. There are also questions regarding post-launch support for Rumbleverse. While there's been some attention surrounding its playtests, it hasn't necessarily gone virally popular or anything of the sort. In many ways, it feels like Rumbleverse has yet to be properly debuted to a broader audience. Rumbleverse's quickly-approaching launch is going to surprise even its fans. An in-game cosmetic shop has already been confirmed, in addition to the battle pass. Since the game is free-to-play, it will be monetized in various ways. Rumbleverse, the Fortnite meets pro wrestling Battle Royale game, will be released next month on August 11, for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, and PC through the Epic Games Store. We don’t yet know how long Rumbleverse’s seasons will last, however. This is a week after the game’s launch and will give players a chance to get acquainted with how the game plays before trying to go after the rewards on offer with the battle pass. Those playing on console will also be able to access the game without paying for online subscriptions like Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus. Rumbleverse Season 1 will kick off on August 18, 2022. Regarding some various housekeeping information, Iron Galaxy has confirmed that Rumbleverse will support crossplay between all platforms. Full details about the Battle Pass have yet to be confirmed, but it's unlikely to deviate from the norm. Season One will start one week after release and will include Rumbleverse's first Battle Pass, packed full of Locker Room cosmetics. The first season of Rumbleverse's live service will be slightly delayed from launch if only to allow Iron Galaxy to address any unexpected major concerns. One other announcement made alongside today's Rumbleverse release date reveal is Iron Galaxy's plans for Season One. Multiverse has announced that open-galaxy space RPG Earth From Another Sun is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2023, with a PC version arriving via Steam in Q2 2022. There's no word on three or four-player queues yet. It's a missed opportunity to call it Tag Teams, but at least friends can soon group up. Launch will see the delivery of Duos so that two players can join a match together. Playtests so far have revolved around single-player action, but players have been asking for group queues, too. RELATED: Iron Galaxy Studios Hires David 'DeeJ' Dague as Head of CommunicationAs promised, Iron Galaxy will also be delivering a long-awaited featured coinciding with the launch of Rumbleverse. Iron Galaxy had previously said that it planned to have an early access period before fulling launching the game, but playtests have persuaded the team to fully launch straight away. As promised, Rumbleverse will be launching as a free-to-play game, so all interested players will be able to download and play once the game goes live on launch day. Rumbleverse will now officially launch on August 11 and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. It's worked out so well that Iron Galaxy feels confident enough to fully launch Rumbleverse sooner than expected. These tests have drawn a significant amount of attention to Rumbleverse, which stands out with its unique pro-wrestling-themed action gameplay. Over the past several months, developer Iron Galaxy has been holding several increasingly large playtests for its battle royale, Rumbleverse.
